1. About these Terms

These Terms & Conditions ("Terms") govern your use of SpanishTax AI (the "Service"), accessible at spanishtaxai.com. By accessing or using the Service, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the Service.

2. Service Provider

The Service is provided by:

3. What the Service is — and what it isn't

SpanishTax AI is an informational and educational platform that provides:

• Information about the Spanish Digital Nomad Visa (DNV) application process
• Information about Spanish autónomo (self-employed) tax obligations
• Information about the Beckham Law special tax regime
• Document templates, checklists, and roadmaps
• An AI-powered chatbot trained on a curated knowledge base
• Optional asynchronous review of customer-submitted application packages by Oscar Gonzalez Febles (Spanish auditor)

4. User accounts and eligibility

To use the Service, you must:

• Be at least 18 years old (or the age of majority in your country of residence)
• Provide accurate, complete information when creating an account or contacting us
• Maintain the confidentiality of your account credentials
• Notify us immediately of any unauthorized account use

You are responsible for all activity that occurs under your account.

5. Pricing and plans

Current plans (subject to change with notice):

All prices are in Euros and include applicable VAT. Founding rates are available for a limited time at SpanishTax AI's discretion.

6. Payment and billing

Payments are processed by Stripe, Inc. (a third-party payment processor). By making a purchase, you also agree to Stripe's terms and privacy policy.

Recurring subscriptions renew automatically at the end of each billing period unless cancelled before the renewal date. You may cancel any time via your account settings or by emailing billing@spanishtaxai.com.

7. Refunds and cancellations

Refund policy is governed by EU consumer law (Directive 2011/83/EU, transposed by Real Decreto Legislativo 1/2007). See our full Refund Policy for details.

Summary: 14-day full refund window for new purchases. Services already partially or fully consumed (e.g., delivered Pro Audit reports) may not be refundable.

8. Chatbot use and limitations

The AI chatbot integrated in the Service:

• Provides answers generated by Anthropic's Claude AI based on a curated knowledge base maintained by Oscar Gonzalez Febles
• May occasionally produce inaccurate or incomplete information; verify critical decisions independently
• Has a free-tier usage limit (3 messages anonymous + 3 with email = 6 total free messages per session); further use requires a paid plan
• Conversations may be logged for quality assurance, debugging, and service improvement (see Privacy Policy)

9. Document review service (Pro Audit / Premium Concierge)

When you purchase a Pro Audit or subscribe to Premium Concierge, Oscar Gonzalez Febles will review documents you submit asynchronously by email or via your dashboard. This review:

• Is a documentation completeness check, not binding legal or tax advice
• Is delivered in writing (email or dashboard message) within the timeframe stated at purchase (typically 48 hours for Pro Audit)
• Does not include phone calls, video calls, or in-person meetings — the Service is asynchronous-only
• Reflects professional opinion based on available information; the customer remains solely responsible for their submissions to Spanish authorities

10. Acceptable use

You agree NOT to:

• Use the Service for any illegal purpose or in violation of any applicable law
• Attempt to bypass usage limits, paywalls, or other access controls
• Scrape, copy, or republish the chatbot's outputs at scale
• Reverse-engineer the Service or attempt to extract the underlying knowledge base
• Use the Service to harass, defame, or harm others
• Upload malicious content (malware, viruses, illegal materials)
• Resell or sublicense access to the Service without explicit written permission

Violation may result in account suspension or termination without refund.

11. Intellectual property

All content on the Service — the knowledge base, document templates, blog articles, brand assets, software code — is the property of Oscar Gonzalez Febles unless otherwise indicated. You receive a limited, non-transferable, revocable license to use the Service for personal or commercial DNV/tax compliance purposes.

Document templates you download may be used for your own DNV application. They may not be redistributed, resold, or used to build a competing service.

12. Disclaimers and limitation of liability

The Service is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. While we strive for accuracy, Spanish administrative practice evolves and individual cases vary. SpanishTax AI does not guarantee:

• Approval of any DNV or other immigration application
• Specific outcomes from tax filings or strategies
• That information is current with the latest regulatory changes
• Uninterrupted availability of the Service

To the maximum extent permitted by Spanish and EU law, our total liability for any claim related to the Service is limited to the amount you paid in the 12 months preceding the claim. Nothing in these Terms excludes liability for death, personal injury, or gross negligence where excluding such liability would be unlawful.

13. Privacy and data protection

Your personal data is processed per our Privacy Policy, in compliance with GDPR (Regulation EU 2016/679) and the Spanish Data Protection Act (LO 3/2018, LOPDGDD).

14. Modifications to the Service or Terms

We may modify these Terms or the Service at any time. Material changes will be notified by email (if you have an account) and posted on this page with an updated "Last updated" date. Continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance.

15. Termination

You may stop using the Service at any time. We may terminate or suspend your access for violation of these Terms, fraud, or as required by law. Termination does not entitle you to a refund of pre-paid amounts beyond what's specified in our Refund Policy.

16. Governing law and dispute resolution

These Terms are governed by Spanish law. Any disputes will be resolved by the courts of Madrid, Spain, except where applicable consumer protection laws require otherwise (e.g., consumer's country of residence within the EU).

EU consumers may also use the European Commission's Online Dispute Resolution platform.
